⚠️Watch out for Pump and Dump Scams ⚠️
How It Works:
Purchase: Fraudsters buy large amounts of a low-value asset.
Promotion: They aggressively promote the asset through social media, emails, or other channels, claiming it has major growth potential.
Price Increase: Increased demand from unsuspecting investors drives the price higher.
Sell-Off: The promoters sell their holdings at a profit.
Price Crash: With the selling pressure and no real value supporting the asset, the price often drops sharply.
Remember: If an investment opportunity seems too good to be true or relies heavily on hype rather than credible information, it may be part of a pump and dump scheme.
